We have presented over 1000 properties for sale, ranging from simple ideas and handy hints to complete make-overs including landscaping gardens, painting, replacing carpet and hiring furniture.

There are many techniques, ideas and knowledge of houses we use when to present your property. It is sometimes difficult to view your own property through the ‘buyers eyes’ so this allows the opportunity for ‘fresh eyes’ to consult and advise you on your property.

At Moving Interiors we spend around one hour visiting you in your home and providing you with a written report. In the consultation every area of your home is discussed, inside and out.

The following are some of the tips we use:

• Make the most of natural lighting, cleaning windows, curtains open and blinds up.
  
• Adding lighting with lamps and replacing light bulbs with more powerful ones.
  
• Adding soft touches such as flowers and lovely smells with either essential oils or deodorises and playing soft music.
  
• Cleaning up and keeping areas neat and tidy.
  
• Fixing and filling cracks in walls and re-painting if needed.
  
• Attending to leaking taps, sticking doors, broken glass and bricks, door handles, etc.
  
• Steam clean carpets and rugs.
  
• Clean the outside of the house, fix guttering, wash flyscreens, sweep paths, trim shrubs, add any plants or pots near the front door and a new front door mat, (a lower maintenance garden can be very appealing).
